Frequently asked questions
Is this a qualified electronic signature?
No. Zynvio offers advanced electronic signature under the eIDAS Regulation (EU 910/2014), not qualified signature. If your business needs a higher level of assurance, the signer can also sign with their own digital certificate (PAdES).
Does the signer need a digital certificate?
No. They can sign with a handwritten stroke on screen, identified with the one-time code (OTP) they receive by email. The digital certificate is optional, for when the business needs greater assurance.
What happens if the signer denies having signed?
Every signed document includes an evidence page with a timestamp, SHA-256 fingerprint, the signer's IP and browser, the identification method used and the chronological event log — evidence that guarantees non-repudiation.
What documents can I sign with Zynvio?
Invoices and their European formats (PAdES, Facturae XAdES, Factur-X/ZUGFeRD) when you issue them, quotes accepted by the customer, HR contracts, final settlements and payslip receipts, SEPA mandates, project milestones and change orders, and booking liability waivers.
How much does it cost to have third parties sign documents?
Activation is immediate and free. It includes 3 third-party signatures a month (25/month on the Mid-sized business Premium and Enterprise plans); additional signatures are billed at €0.80 each.
