What OCR technology does it use?
Extraction is performed with Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence (invoice and receipt models). The scanner itself does not use OpenAI; the AI account suggestion is a separate step (AI Accounting). Data is processed in the European Union; you can find the details in our privacy policy.
Does it post or submit on its own?
No. The scanner always leaves the document pending your review and never posts to the books or submits to VERI*FACTU on its own. Scanned issued invoices are created as drafts and follow their normal confirmation workflow.
Can I scan from my phone?
Yes. You can photograph the document with your phone camera or upload a PDF or image (JPG, PNG, WebP), up to 10 MB and 200 pages per file, and also upload several at once.
What data does it extract from an invoice?
Supplier, NIF/CIF, date, number, taxable base, VAT breakdown and total, plus the line items (description, quantity, price, amount and VAT rate). Each field shows its confidence level.
Where are my documents processed?
OCR reading is performed in the European Union through Microsoft Azure, declared as a sub-processor in our privacy policy. The original document is stored in your own storage.
